Knight Life bridges the gap between venue staff and nightlife patrons — creating a smarter, safer after-dark experience for everyone who steps through the door.
Every night out should end safely. Every venue deserves the tools to make that happen.
Nightlife is one of the last industries without a dedicated safety infrastructure.
Bars and clubs operate in isolation — what happens at one venue stays at one venue,
even when it shouldn't. Meanwhile, patrons navigate unfamiliar spaces with no reliable
way to report incidents or access real-time safety information.
Knight Life was built to close that gap — permanently.
Knight Life is a dual-interface mobile platform built exclusively for the nightlife industry — combining a private staff-facing safety tool with a public patron-facing social and discovery app.
The Staff Portal gives verified venue staff the tools they've never had: a searchable incident database, a geo-restricted ID scanner, cross-venue watchlist sharing, and real-time safety alert broadcasting — all protected behind strict data controls and legal safeguards.
The Public App gives patrons something equally unprecedented: live venue activity ranking, anonymous incident reporting, drink menus, table reservations, and friend invite features — with AI moderation ensuring every submission is safe, legal, and accountable.
Together, they form the first closed-loop nightlife safety system — where what happens at the door connects directly to what patrons can see and report from the dance floor.
From the moment a patron steps up to the door to the moment they leave — Knight Life creates a connected safety loop between staff and guests.
Every existing app solves one piece of the puzzle. Knight Life is the only platform combining nightlife safety infrastructure with patron social discovery — in a single app.

Knight Life wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born at the door.
Kofi Baffour spent eight years working security at some of Los Angeles’s most prominent nightlife venues — from the clubs of Culver City to the high-volume venues of West Hollywood and the Sunset Strip. Night after night, he stood at the intersection of safety, energy, and human behavior — and saw firsthand how broken the system was.
The problem wasn’t the venues. It wasn’t the patrons. It was the complete absence of infrastructure. A patron causing trouble at one venue could walk directly into the next one. A staff member who witnessed something had no reliable way to document it. A guest who felt unsafe had no anonymous channel to say so. And the people working the door — the ones closest to every situation — had no tools built for them.
His background as a former Apple team member gave him an appreciation for products that are intuitive enough for anyone to use under pressure — exactly what a door staff member needs at 1am on a Friday night.
Knight Life is the platform Kofi wished existed every single night he worked the door. It is motivated by every patron he saw suffer in silence, every incident that went undocumented, and every moment where better tools could have changed the outcome.
“I’ve watched patrons feel unsafe with no way to be heard. I’ve watched staff try to manage serious situations with nothing but a radio and a group text. This industry deserves better — and now it has it.”
Knight Life is launching in Los Angeles. Whether you're a venue owner, an investor, or a patron who believes nightlife can be safer — we want you in the room.
